Parking

Rideshare is recommended for weekend charters as parking can be difficult.

  • There are three parking options for Meridian guests. 

    • 31st Harbor Parking Garage. Proceed down the entrance path and look for the paid parking entrance on your left. This is the closest lot to Dock I. This lot fills up fast and can at times be closed. This lot is best suited for week day charters. 

    • Lot B Parking. Located at 641 E. 31st Street. This lot is best suited for weekend parking. Once parked head east towards the lake/entrance to 31st Harbor

    • 31st Harbor Public Parking. Located at 548 Fort Dearborn Drive. 31st Beach’s public paid parking spaces. Best suited for weekday charters.

    • Enter Meridian Private Yachts into your rideshare app or

    • Enter 3155 S. Lake Shore Dr. Chicago, IL

    • Instruct Driver to enter 31st harbor and drop you off in the rideshare/taxi turnaround

    • Please account for extra travel time to get to the dock on big event days 

    • Parking can fill up fast for special event days

    • Please plan accordingly

Driving Directions

If you have any inquiries about directions or any general questions, the staff members at Meridian Private Yachts are happy to assist you.

  • Take the Edens Expressway (I-94) south to the Kennedy Expressway (I-90). From the Kennedy Expressway take the Dan Ryan (I-94) south. Continue going south on the Dan Ryan keeping in the right lane and exit north on the Stevenson Expressway (I-55). From the Stevenson Expressway take Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.

  • Take the Northwest Tollway (I-90) to the Kennedy/Dan Ryan (I-94). From the Kennedy/Dan Ryan take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.

  • Take the local lanes on I-94 to the Calumet Expressway. From the Calumet Expressway, take the Dan Ryan (I-94) north to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55). Go north on the Stevenson Expressway to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.

  • Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.

  • Take the Eisenhower (I-290) east to the Dan Ryan (I-94) south. Keeping in the right lane on the Dan Ryan exit onto the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.

  • Take the Indiana Tollway (I-90) to the Chicago Skyway. Traveling in the local lanes, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) north to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) north to Lake Shore Drive South. Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.

  • Take I-80/94 to the Calumet Expressway. From the Calumet Expressway, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) North to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) North to Lake Shore Drive South Exit at 31st Street, turn right and follow the signs to parking lot.

  • Exit at 31st Street, Turn East towards the lake then turn right and follow the signs to the parking lot.
